​Want to use a different brand pen on your woodburner?

Adapters and cords can allow your pens to be used on a different brand machine. 

• Adapters are less expensive but you will feel a little extra weight on the end of your pen. 
• Cords adapters will give you the same flexibility as attaching the manufacturer's pen.
• Razertip pens use low power and can overheat when attached to powerful woodburners such as Burnmaster without adjusting the machine's output.

Note about our Adapters:

The adapters we sells are not low amp audio adapters. Although they have a similar look, the adapters we sell can handle the high amps needed to heat wood burning tips. We purchase our adapters from Razertip, which only use parts that have been tested and meet these requirements. Avoid off the shelf audio connectors and make sure you choose high amp connectors for your woodburning equipment.

Note about Razertip Cords:

​​Handpiece cords are perhaps the trickiest component on a pyrographic tool. Besides having to sometimes handle up to 20 amps of current, they have to withstand constant flexing for hours on end. On top of that, they must maintain a perfect connection between the pen and the power supply - if the connection is reduced the ends can generate enough heat to melt the connectors! Razertip cords incorporate many unique features that make them the most reliable cord on the market. All of our RCA connectors are precision machined, then carefully inspected, fitted, and electrically reinforced. In other words, they are made to handle the current and tugging like no other plug. Then we install our unique flexible strain relief behind the plug. The strain relief spreads the flexing of the cord over a larger area, assuring many years of dependable service.
