Keeled Snake Scales - 5 Piece Set - Available in Small, Medium, and Large Scale Sizes

These quality tips are made by Razertip. The tips are made of a steel blade welded onto wire. Larger sizes will require a higher heat setting and a longer heat-up and cool-down time. The keeled snake scales have a line in them and are perfect for realistic renditions of rattlesnakes, copperheads, cottonmouths, and pit viper snakes. ​

  • Small Set - Includes 2.0mm, 2.5mm, 3.0mm, 3.5mm, and 4.0mm scales (sizes used by Mike Stinnett). Designed to transition the snake scales in 5 small, gradual increments from the head of the snake to the tail.
  • Medium Set - Includes 3.5mm, 4.0mm, 4.5mm, 5.0mm, and 6.0mm scales. Larger than the small set so you won't have to burn as many scales.
  • Large Set - Includes 4.5mm, 5.0mm, 6.0mm, 7.0mm, and 8.0mm scales. Largest scales we offer for burning large snakes.
  • Note: Buying the Small and Large sets gives you one of each size scale we offer.

Tips work with the Binding-Post Interchangeable-tip Pen #BPH. 

Tips can be soldered into Colwood RT-Bushings with High Temperature solder.

Use of heavy duty cord is recommended.

Use of tip cleaning brush is recommended for cleaning these tips.
